The long-anticipated announcement was made today, and Amazon decided to split up its' 50,000 job HQ2 into HQ2/3 in Long Island City, NY and Arlington, VA while also adding an eastern distribution center in Nashville, TN that will add approximately 5,000 additional local jobs.
Amazon has said that it will begin hiring for these locations in 2019, which is right around the corner.
